I was born in Thailand in 1997 in the refugees camp. Coming to America was always my dream since I was a little girl. My family and I moved to the United States, when I was 10 years old, in 2008. I completed my high school degree at South Division. I started working as an interpreter in my junior year in high school. Currently, I am enrolled in MATC, studying Criminal Justice and works part-time as a Karen interpreter at Sebastian Family.
I was born in Burma but grew up in the Thailand refugee camp. I spent 16 years in Thailand before coming to the USA on June 23, 2008. I started going to Paul Harding High School as a sophomore and was enrolled in ESL program for a year. At Paul Harding, I focused on achieving my goals including learning English, participating in extracurricular activities, and doing well in all my classes. I speak Burmese and English. I also found a part time job at a local restaurant to help my parents financially. Moving to a new country and settling was a huge challenge for my family and I. I graduated high school in 2011 but also enjoy doing make up, hairs, and it’s also my passion. I went beauty school for a year and graduated in 2015 .I worked at a salon for one year. I’m currently employed at Sebastian Family Psychology Practice, LLC as a Burmese interpreter.
